61st Arrowhead Regional Biennial

On display in the Duluth Art Institute, on the 4th Floor of the Duluth Depot, from Nov. 10th, 2016 – Feb. 9th, 2017

The Duluth Art Institute continues a tradition established in 1919: The Arrowhead Regional Biennial. The longest running Biennial in the Midwest, the exhibit is held every other year and features some of the best artwork coming out of the region, judged each year by a distinguished guest. Artist Dyani White Hawk is this year’s Juror, and nearly $2,000 will be awarded in cash prizes at the opening reception. Thirty-three works on display will include an audio installation, prints, paintings, photographs, mixed media installations, a moleskin book, video, weaving, a tunic, colored pencil, and pastel. A full-color catalog will be be available.
