Dance Day at the Depot

Dance Day at the Depot

FREE Public Presentation

All are invited to the School of the Minnesota Ballet’s free presentation of Dance Day at the Depot 3 p.m. Sunday, April 30, in the Great Hall.

The event offers demonstrations by Ballet IV–VII students and the Athletic Dance for Young Men’s class. Featured is a contemporary ballet choreographed by Ruben Medina; for this special work, students will wear new red unitards provided by a grant from the Depot Foundation. Also featured are upper-level students performing excerpts from the Friends’ Dance of “Coppélia,” choreographed by the British dancer/choreographer Dame Ninette de Valois and set by Suzie Baer.

Following the presentations, everyone is invited to join the social dance or watch the fun. Dance Day at the Depot is made possible by a grant from the Depot Foundation.
