Operation Lifesaver Training

Operation Lifesaver Training

Want to make a difference and be more involved in your community? Want to improve your public speaking skills and help save lives in the process? Just want to meet awesome people who care about those who live and work around them? Join Operation Lifesaver as an Authorized Volunteer!

Operation Lifesaver is a 40+ year old, nation-wide initiative with state programs all across the country working with people just like you to offer free education and raise awareness about making safer decisions around tracks and trains.
When you join our team we provide free training in our safety messages, offer you access to our nationally developed materials and videos, and provide ongoing training, support, and supplies so that YOU can make a difference in your community speaking to groups, schools, and at events.

We are hosting a Face-to-Face training session (a requirement to become a part of our team) on Tuesday, March 20th at the North Shore Scenic Railroad in Duluth, MN.
RSVP is required. You will also need to complete an online application as well as approximately 1 hour online training module (this can be done at your own pace and on your own time as long as it is completed prior to the class).

Start by visiting: https://oli.org/training/volunteer-for-oli and completing the initial application. Once approved you will receive an auto-generated link to access the online module. As long as you use this link to access it, your progress will be saved and you can complete it in as many sessions as needed prior to the in-person class.

To attend this class, we also ask that you RSVP to the State Coordinator and Executive Director of the Minnesota Operation Lifesaver program at mnoperationlifesaver@gmail.com or 651-328-3259. With acknowledgement of your RSVP you will receive further details and information needed to attend the class on March 20th.

Thank  you for your interest in helping to prevent tragedies, we hope you will consider joining us!
